    Dog Walkers

Dog walkers on the beach this morning.

A great idea for a pic and it appeals to me; the first I think works slightly better than the second but for both I find that there are different points of interest and you are jumping between them. I think the reason I prefer the first pic is that the location of the dogs is better and the figures stand out much better. I like the foot steps in the sand.

Like Ian, I find something really evocative about the images. Just a suggestion for an alternative view, and this only struck me looking at them on my phone, which I would neverr view my own images on, the first works really well in portrait with the figures out in each corner. Yes you lose a lot of textured sand but they feel a more cohesive group looking at each other and with the footprints connecting them.

Thanks for your comments both. I took several. but wasn't particularly happy with any of them. The second one is black and white. I must get next door to trim his trees so that I have more room at the bottom.

I like them, perhaps a little bit more space at the top of the first one to give more sense of space and isolation.

I too like them, but agree with Trev about more space at the top of #1.
