    Re: Family visit

And I'll tell you a secret now, I have never shot anything in RAW yet. I am not a very confident photographer yet with the techy stuff and I get worried I'll lose the pic or not be able to save it correctly in RAW (Yeah I'm a noob I know :) ) I tried one pic but couldn't open in Adobe and had to use canon software that came with camera to see it, and then could only save as tiff. All a bit confusing at the moment :)
You've saw a lovely picture/ moment, that is the most important of all the key skills/ abilities, so don't be harsh on yourself.

The techy stuff can be mastered quite easily. I personally think of it as the 'blue collar' side of photography.

      Thanks Trev,
I do sometimes think I will never quite master some of the techy stuff. But you are right, the bit I love most is just being out and about snapping away. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. But I still enjoy it :)

Both are very effective and I would be chuffed to have produced them.

              Re: Family visit

Thanks Paul, my grandchildren are my favourite photographic subjects. Particularly as they live far away from me. I think they are quite used to nana pointing a camera at them. The three year old will become a bit of a 'poser' I think :)
              Thanks for looking.
