    Sunday Photo Session

I'm stuck at home, making bread to go with my chili for the Super Bowl game today. So while waiting for the bread to rise I set up the home studio to take a few images. For these images I used 2 flashes. the key light on the left I used a a 580 EX I flash on 1/8 power inside a 60X90cm Softbox with a egg crate on the softbox. The fill light on the right was a 430 EX II flash set to 1/16 power also in a 60X90cm softbox with no egg create on it.

    The camera was the SL1 (100D) w/EF16-35mm f/2.8L @ 35mm

Using a Light Meter I set the camera setting to the following:

    1/200 sec @ f/2.8, ISO 200

Here are 3 images for the set:

    Thanks for Stopping by

Tom, they're nice shots. I have zero experience in using flash, but I'm not sure if your wife's face looks a little under exposed in 2 & 3?

Thanks Andy, She had me tone the face down a bit as she thought it was to bright. Need to keep her happy if I want her to pose for me.

Nice images Tom. I particularly like the first image. The pose just seems to work, nice and natural. And, as always, the processing is superb,

                      Nice set Tom.
Just watch out for the distortion (optical illusion) from the glasses. Though I'm not to sure how you could prevent this? (right hand side of the face between the cheek and eye).
