Very nice Alan, prefer the colour to the mono. Think it would be better if the blue lighting was expanded a bit more, Olivia seems a bit tight in the frame within the blue BG. Just my two pennies worth who knows nothing whatsoever about this type of photography

Unfortunately as the light is projected, I am restricted on the size by the length of my studio

Projector spot and hand cut gobos. In editing I exploited the chromatic aberration created by the lenses in the Gobo spot by boosting and altering the colour in Photoshop. I exploited the excellent masking techniques in camera raw to make the adjustments. Who would have thought Chromatic Aberration could be so much fun.

I prefer the blue or coloured shots to the mono ones.

please excuse my complete ignorance here but what is a gobo and a snoot? I’m sure I should have heard of them but unfortunately not and would be interested to see what I’m missing out on.

Gobo stands for Go between optics. They are patterned cut-out discs that when placed in either a projector or an adapter for a studio light, produce a projected image that can be focused or de-focused to produce the desired effect.
A snoot is a light modifier for photographic lights.
