Lunch Patterns is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Aiken County Historical Museum in Aiken, SC. This is two pieces of discarded flora. The background is Autumn Rouge azalea that had fallen off the bush, and the foreground is a leaf that some type of critters had eaten. I loved the random designs the bugs created, and I found it interesting that in some cases they ate right through the whole leaf while in other areas, they just sort of took the skin off and left a translucent area.
