    Watercolour effect in PSE

    Having a bit of a play around this afternoon, after reading a tutorial in Digital Photo magazine. I know creating fake art looks isn't everyone's cup of tea, but went from this...

    Hmmm, now looking at the two side by side as I'm previewing the post, perhaps I haven't applied it strongly enough. As always, grateful for any thoughts or feedback.

    I have tried those type of tutorials in the past and never really pleased with the results even using the images they supply rather than my own. With this one Alex, I think you have been too subtle as there seems very little difference between the two and the second has lost a little vibrancy

      I know what you mean, Stan. On reflection, all I've managed to do is to turn an ok image into a poor one! Not my most successful afternoon!!
