    Dark image problem solved

Okay, before anyone suggests using a lighter photograph (I've just thought of that!!) here is a new image for your feedback, comments and observations.

That’s a lot better Rose, Still has the appearance to me of tartan. Very well done!

Great Rose, Not being into this sort of thing I can't comment on the photography aspect of the shot. But it appeals to me and like Ian said it reminds me of a tartan - which one I don't know but no doubt one of our friends from 'up north' will enlighten us. Second shot is lovely very colourful, you have 'green fingers'

Agree with the tartan type effect but find the image quite appealing.

          I like that very much!

Don't think it needs to be lighter overall but maybe just a touch in the central colours.

Thank you, Ian Trev, Bull53 and Nigel for looking and taking time to comment.
it is definitely an improvement over my first attempt, might see how it looks printed on card.

Thanks Colin for looking and your kind comments.
I must admit that I had not thought of digital art until I was looking at the various categories in this forum and came across the work submitted by Rcarca; his work inspired me to see what I could achieve. It would be nice to have some more free time to experiment!
