    The Eye

Another of those shots I originally did a few years ago. It came up again in a recent mag and as we have a fun competition after the camera club AGM next week with the theme eye, thought I would update and shoot it again. Used the macro lens so almost full size , just adjusted to fit for an A4 print

That should have the opposition stitched up...

Not sure I have either the patience or the eyesight to try it myself...

            Cheers guys

It's a needle with quite a big eye Nigel

When I did it originally I held each strand tight by using drawing pins in a wood base and that was a bit of a fiddle. This time I set up a tripod either side and used masking tape to hold each colour in place.

well although the judge liked the concept it didn't win as the theme was "eyes" and not "eye" - Dee fell foul of that as well - no problem though as the prize was only a bottle of wine and I rarely drink it anyway
