              This was in the days before Photoshop and it was taken exactly as you see it.

              It was entered in a club competition at the time and the judge was trying to work out how it was done, incldingputting the tubes of toothpaste into the fridge or freezer to make it more malleable. I prolonged the agony for a while and then mentioned during the tea break that the exposed toothpaste was actually two core and earth round lighting flex.

              He "saw" toothpaste and reasoned it was toothpaste.

                My emphasis was really aimed on the "paste" rather than cut and paste
