At least you got a collision

When I got mine out again for the first time in months i used milk and cream rather than water as it was a lot easier

It took me most of the day to get a couple of shots, I even visited the website as i couldn't remember what button did what.

      Was fun though.

Nice shot Chris, but you have ended up with a lot of noise.

Your settings used couldn't have caused that, so I presume something must have occurred during the processing?

          Yes it was Colin.
I didn't quite have the focus right and playing with it a little in photoshop has created some noise.

Are you using the splash art kit or your own setup just out interest?

I will try and post a pic of my setup later today.

Cheers, been thinking about investing in that at some point in the future.
Good to see some real works results.

                          Re: Back To The Splash

Sorry I have not posted earlier but been having the dreaded 503 error, so i thought I'd try the direct route instead of through flikr.

Here is a couple of shots of my recent setup, although I do change it a lot.

                          My Setup.jpg
Here is my setup showing the positions of my flash.

                          My Setup2.jpg
Covering of flashes for background, sometimes use an acrylic sheet.

                          R&B splash 2.jpg
                          Fruits of my labour.

I also find that wiring up my camera to my mac and controlling my camera through eos utilities makes life a lot easier when doing this type of photography.

I have now also bought a cable to attach my camera to my samsung tablet to make it more of a mobile setup.
