The wife was out tonight with work so thought I would give the splash photography another go this time I used my two light stands to support a bar which I hung the takeaway cup from with a blue plastic tun underneath and a black background. I only have the one flashgun so I had that to the left at 90 degrees.



My wife says she thinks the top of this one looks like a heart



I know that its not up to the standard on here but at the moment I'm having fun trying different things

Having fun is what it is all about. You could experiment with a reflector to supplement your flash gun.

Cool second go paul. Even with limited time. I like the crown its sharp as a tac

Thanks everyone I just used tap water and used the 70-300 in it's macro mode

Also agree with the reflector. Card with foil on?
