    1st attempt at waterdrops...

    Hi

As everyone else has bought a Splash Art kit, and produced some superb water splash drop stuff, I wanted to join in, but I'm on a budget. So here's what I used...

Kit - what Nature provided (plus my membership of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust).
Lighting - I waited till the sun came out. No gels used!
Timing - I waited for the right moment, then blasted away at 8fps like a maniac... then I picked best one in DPP!

I'm sure you'll all agree, I've done really well for a first attempt...

I particularly like the last one, as I had to pan to keep up with the splashes... something you lot don't do, as you probably keep your ducks stationary somehow, so all the drips fall in your water tanks! Amateurs!

I'm also wondering how many people share my sense of humour!

Excellent attempts, although I think you'd have better results, if you throw the Ducks harder at the water.

Have you tried skimming the ducks across the water ?, great fun.

An excellent first effort and your use of an outsized splash tray has resulted in some good reflections. Next time try and use a second duck so you can try for a collision

I WAS actually thinking of the next step... and I think I need to gradually move up from ducks (after the ducks have been thrown harder!)... through the range of available Geese (some of them migrate, which is problematic!), and finally on to Swans, and then multiple Swans!

Great minds think alike! Watch this space!

                          Very amusing.

And it was a good series of shots too.
