    CSCC at Silverstone

Weekend of challenges for me this one. 1st off was the new lens, Canon's EF 200-400mm with built in 1.4 extender and the 2nd was trying a monopod, Saturday I went handhold only for nearly 10 hours straight and Sunday I did the whole day with a monopod. I def had more keepers handholding which I guess is down to never having used a monopod - hopefully a bit more practice will help (had a lot higher keep rate handheld) So the photo's - trust me when I say it was REALLY tricky to just pick a few but here goes. (seriously these look so much nicer full screen)

    #1 1/160, f/10, iso 100, 258mm handheld

    #2 1/320, f/5, iso 100, 400mm handheld

    #3 1/250, f/8, iso 100, 400mm handheld, group shot

    #4 1/160, f/10, iso 100, 325mm Monopod

    #5 1/500, f/6.3, iso 125, 560mm Monopod

#6 1/320, f/6.3, iso 400, 560mm Monopod and just to prove Brad Pitt really does have a younger brother

Now - how bored are you?

Great set David. What in the name of all things Alfa Romeo is that horror show in the second image. Looks like Mad Max has been involved. Yuck. Probably sounded amazing though?

Lovely set David, looks like the lens investment has been excellent.

All too briefly fella, I kept a look out for you in the hope of a catch up but didn't even get a glimpse.

New lens is awesome, wouldn't have even entertained buying it if it wasn't for the 'windfall' but man I am glad I did, it surpasses what I expected (I suppose for the money it should do lol)
