    The Butterfly Stroke

Was at our grandson's swim meet today. Took with me the Canon EOS M6 Mark II equipped with the Tamron 18-400.

Good action shots, well captured and well timed. All are excellent but my preference is No.1. Is your grandson in these pics somewhere?

Three great shot Tom. The grandson is certainly a fit young man, arms and shoulder rippling with muscle.

No longer using Canon but still teaching new Canon users (and others) the gentle art of Photography.

                Did he win?

Excellent set especially the first one.

Never got the hang of the butterfly stoke. To me it always seemed like drowning by numbers as I inevitably headed for the bottom!...

Great shots - and you answered a question I was asking myself, should I go for this lens with my newly-acquired M6 Mk II. How does it handle (weight / balance etc?)

I use the lens with the m to EOS adapter. It is a great all around travel lens and it balances well with the M6 mkII. Never had any issues with this lens.
