    A different kind of horsepower

    Not the horse (or actualy pony) power I'm used to photographing, but and enjoyable hour or so at the local Polo ground last Sunday. No clue what was happening but very impressive.

              Fast and furious and not easy to photograph, especially as they are a football pitch away at one time and next to you in an instant.

                Some great action shots there.

                It is curious how much you lose in terms of relating to the shot when their head is the other side of the horse's neck. This is an observation not a criticism, when they are galloping at such pace and not thinking about posing for you....!
