A Wet Donington Park Track Day

Nice morning spent at Donington Park for one of their Track Days.

First time back since Covid restrictions were lifted (lets see for how long) so great to be back at a few of the off limits spots again.

More like a GT Test day with a fair few GT Cup, Britcar and Ferrari Challenge teams out for a play. Sprinkling of McLaren/Audi road cars as well to mix things up.

Weather forecast was pretty lousy which was what I'd hoped for to have a go at some wet/moody shots and it duly obliged after a dull dry first couple of hours.

Best thing about it? Didn't see a single other spectator until I was back at the car setting off. Bliss!

C&C welcome as ever and thanks for looking.

I love em all and not easy in such awful weather.

My favourite is the very artistic take you have made of number 4 and strangely, the fact that he has only one brake light showing adds to the story. I feel you have edited some of these on to the dark side and it very much adds to the drama

        Some finely crafted images Tim.

                        Cheers everyone.

Did get utterly soaked but knew that would be the case to get what I was after.

Trev - funnily enough you can actually hire one of the GT ones from the firm that did the Track Day. No Idea on cost but can't see it being cheap! MSV do driving days as well at their tracks - I've dropped hints for years to the wife about how good an xmas prezzie it would be but I'm still waiting......

Colin - I've deffo gone dark on them - possibly too dark compared to the reality but like the effect a lot.

Think my favorite is between 4 and 5 - only really found this spot last year as I was going home - just caught them going over the horizon in the corner of my eye as I was headed for the exit. Had some real nice shots there since.
