Back in the 1920's era, before the Herring shoals collapsed completely, Tunny(read Tuna today) fishing was very much based around the town of Scarborough. From wiki
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big-ga...ff_Scarborough. This is a memorial to the old fishing.

Cheers guys, there a sightings of Tuna right round the British coasts as the Herring shoals are growing again, one large fish was caught near St.Kilda and fish have been seen off the Devon/Cornwall coast too.

Thanks Bill, at the north end of the harbour on the sea front, might be new though.

Just a bit further round to the north, the funfair was closed for maintenance the day we were there, we also saw some Porpoises close to this, but were just too difficult to get a shot of them.

Thanks,I've been to Scarborough three times, only with my old Fuji bridge camera though, that's how I recognised the building.Shame about the Porpoises being in a difficult position though.
