    Unique Remembrance Service

Our village is the only place in Britain that you will see this sight. The Atholl Highlanders escorting the band after the service onto the church. Why is it unique? They are the only private army allowed in Britain, a charter granted by Queen Victoria.

Excellent shot David and great to hear about the Atholl Highlanders (I have a confession, I love Bagpipes)
I spent the morning at the Drum Head Service at the Royal Marine Commando Training Centre at Lympstone.

Have sponsored the Blair Atholl band for the past twenty years at least, the distillery used to be the smallest in Scotland, but don’t think it is now.
