Lovely picture Fred - a fantastic aircraft and one that holds a special memory for me. The only time it was ever used in anger was in the Falklands Conflict in 1982. when it bombed Argentine positions on seven missions, known then as Black Buck 1 to Black Buck 7. Top marks to the Air Crew's that flew those missions and to the lady that authorised it !!!

Thanks for the comments, very grateful. Don't know which one but it doesn't have any engines now.

Ok where is it so I can trace it from it's location?I'm not being nosey, just have a"thing" for Vulcans that's all.

I saw one of the final flights of XH558 and also when she was in a hangar at Bruntingthorpe, and have been inside the one at Newark Air Museum.
