    DHL bashing the circuit

Circuit training consists of circuit and bumps, sometimes carrying out rollers or full stops and then backtracking down the taxiway to take off again, this is one of DHL’s finest 757’s, the RR powered 757 is the one to have, it’s the Ferrari of airliners. With the blue skies it just pops colour wise in my eyes.

No, just A slight tweak in photo shop to bring out the blues and give the others a little more punch.

thanks all for the kind comments.

Why aren't the engines yellow? They do look odd that colour. Is it something to do with the heat versus the paint composition?

Wings etc and engines tend to be light and not repainted in schemes, one is the cost, going back a few years now on the likes of a 737 the figure of about 41K comes to mind to do them, the other reason is you would need to remove all the control surfaces, strip, paint and rebalance them, I think light shows up leaks better, but other reasons I could think of is better at night for evacuations to have light colours, it might also help with fuel temperatures... but i don't know..

                        Very colourful, well done.
I’ve recently been using an App that shows military as well as civilian aircraft in flight. Mainly to try and identify the aircraft above our house when they aren’t visible due to cloud cover.
The majority of the civilian craft seem to have been cargo rather than passenger.

Yes, cargo is extremely busy PAX are not. East Mids Airport which is one of the UK's main freight airports, has not been hit as bad as some of the others. It went from something like 13th busiest in the UK to something like 4th Busiest in Europe! almost overnight for that reason
