    BBMF Members day

    Hi All,

I know I moan a lot about light but the weather was really taking the mickey, the day before was lovely as was the day after, for this it was the absolute pits of a day, solid grey cloud.

I still took loads of shots but not one is any good, all are forced for want of a better word, but as a record of the formation they will have to do, these aircraft being so low and close is a wonderful experience, the sound of all those Merlin engines with two Pratt and Whitney's thrown in for good measure was something to remember.

A nice set Paul, considering the conditions you did exceptionally well - 3 and 4 are the pick for me.

What a super set, shame about the weather but you had a good day anyway. A good job it wasn’t windy as that apparently is a more of a problem. i missed seeing the BBMF Lanc in formation with the Canadian one in 2014 because it was too windy.

Good set despite the weather, particularly 3 & 4.

You look to have a few dust bunnies too, they show up on 3 quite well.
