    The Lancaster did a flypast over Bunkfest at Wallingford. I took a few photos that came out well.

      Totally agree Trev - I have read that average tail gunner’s life expectancy was 3 weeks.

        That’s right they had no hope if the aircraft went down. They had to crawl the length of the aircraft from their position

            My Uncle Ernest was a tail gunner, one of the lucky ones, he survived the war.
