    Steam by the River

    GWR Class 2-6-2T No: 5542 is seen at Hood Bridge working the12.10 from Totnes Riverside to Buckfastleigh on the 14th March 2020 during the ‘Spring Steam Gala’ on the South Devon Railway.

    Great shot Colin, trying to work out where you were to take the shot, you must have been in the field the Totnes side of the bridge, LH side as you cross the bridge.

                Trev, On the road bridge next to the traffic light (Totnes side) there is a steep drop from the bridge down to a muddy path that follows the river towards Buckfastleigh. On this path there are a couple of spots where you can shot towards Buckfastleigh and Totnes.
