    GWR 0-6-0 No: 3205

GWR 0-6-0 No: 3205 is seen near Hood Bridge working the 10.35 Totnes to Buckfastleigh service on the 18th February 2017 during the South Devon Railway ‘Winter Gala’.

Sadly, this lovely loco was withdrawn in 2017 as it needed a major rebuild at an estimated cost of £300,000 to £400,000.

Last weekend I went and saw this loco at Buckfastleigh, the colour is fading and a lot of rust is now showing. No work has been done on it since it was withdrawn.

That is a superb shot Colin, shame about the loco's fate.

Great shot Colin, such a pity that its now laid up. I used to know someone that worked on maintaining the loco's at Buckfastleigh, he always said that thee was never enough money to do what they would like to do.

Nice shot. shame that we can spend billions to go to Mars but can look after what we have on earth.
