    Flying Scotsman huffin and puffin.

This one is from a rather dreich day in March 2016. Whilst it was a wet and dismay day the conditions seemed to help with the steam visibility.

The location is on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (their TV series is worth watching on catch up if you like steam trains). Here we have The Flying Scotsman at Moorgates pulling hard on the incline between Goathland and Pickering.

As always your thoughts and comments welcomed.

Edit. After reading the comments on my original image. I've created a Black and white image with a slightly different crop.

    #1 Original as posted.

#2 Black and white conversion of the original image.

You made the best of a rubbish day, you can almost hear it working, the NYM Railway series is certainly worth watching.

Nice photo but a shame about the weather.

Nice image very atmospheric. Photographed Flying Scotman on local line in 2016 (about 400yds away from home). Did a B&W version of mine which I prefered.

Was just thinking that it would make a good candidate for a BW version as well

Thanks for taking time to comment on the original image I posted. I've now added a B&W conversion of the original in post #1 above.

Both good but B&W is my choice.
