    Bluebird CN7

A pity this wasn't shot a few days later as I could have entered it in June's Monthly Theme

Bluebird CN7 by John Leah, on Flickr

Taken at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu (who's stunning setting and lighting must take the credit for anything positive in the image).

    Cheers,
    John

Great shot John. Agree the lighting and setting at Beaulieu does bring it to its best.

Just a beautiful beast of a car.

A wicked part of my sense of humour would be to slap an MOT on it, some number plates and drive it up the M1 ................... at 70MPH of course!

Great image. This vehicle was amazing, sadly never reached the 500mph it was hoped to achieve largely due to running conditions. Did set a record of 403mph in 1964.

Great image of a great machine John - I found Beaulieu a most interesting place.

Great image. Was on Conniston Water a couple of years back so this brings back all the tragedy of that fateful day. Does not seem anyone around today willing to take up the challenge and I for one dont blame them. Ian W.
