    This was my Friday - quite an exciting day for me.

    Well done Neil, nice to make a bit of history, is this the second model to fly the Chanel, I remember one going from the UK to France a few years back, great picture as well

      Hi Muscat,

      That was in 1990 - a Hurricane was used - its still on display at the Spitfire & Hurricane Museum, Manston. Unfortunately the picture was taken yesterday at the LMA show at Rougham. The weather was bloody 'orrible! There would've been no way of getting a good picture.

          It is daft I live only about 12 miles from Manston and I have never been into the Museum, I must get my backside in there as I believe they have a nice cafe as well. If you don't tell anyon about the picture being from an LMA event I won't
