    No. 92214

Having looked and commented on a number of recent train images. I thought it was time for me to let off some steam

I took this image of 92214 approaching Goathland Station in October 2011 during a visit to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. So what do you think of this one?

Bring on the 9F's ... ah the smell (nearly as good as Castrol-R), the noise, the movement, the steam .... ah ...

Ooooops getting carried away there ... I recall 9F's running nearly right up to the very end.

      Thanks for posting that.

I like that. Sometimes best to get them when they start off and have to loose all the water which has collected in the cylinders

I enjoy seeing photos of the old steam engines.....when i were a young un, I used to stay at my Nan's in Chester and watch the trains from the small front bedroom window, and if i had behaved myself (yup, i could be a bit of a sod at 10 years old) I was allowed to go to the bridge down the road and spend some time inhaling the smaoke LOL...oh, happy days :O)

Thanks for sharing and bringing back memories...
