    What is it?

    Hi All,

    Thought I'd start something different. I don't think there's anything like this in any of the other sections, so here goes.........

    What is it?

    I would say it is one half of the input vent to a turbine or jet - perhaps the harrier engine .

      Simple - it's two lengths of 2x2 joined together and painted red - you never said 'what' I was guessing lol

      Seriously - I would agree with 'part of a jet intake'

                    I would have to say that it looks like the intake to a jet engine or the beginning structure of a modern outhouse.

                        I see where you are coming from, but apart from the airframe at Duxford, I understood all others were destroyed.
