Sinking water taxi, Venice

Taken from the rear deck of a vaporetto (Venice water bus) en route to Burano from Murano. It looked like a salvage job more than a rescue attempt. There is another water taxi attending the scene



Canon 50d with 28-105, polariser. Not much time to compose, had to crop sea and sky .

One of those Oops moments.

With typical Italian flare, there are no doubt another 50 boats converging on the scene.
