    NATCHEZ Riverboat

Sitting along the Mississippi River and took multiply images of this riverboat, and narrowed it down to these two images.

    Camera EOS SL1 (100D)
    Lens EF 70-300 f/4-5.6L

    Image 1:
    1/125 sec @ f/9, ISO 100 @ 116mm

    Image 2:
    1/125 sec @ f/9, ISO 100 @ 300mm

Tom - No 2 for me. The boat sits better within the frame and I prefer the background context.

Concur with David. Shame about the pylons & cable but nothing you can do about that.

Like 'em both, Tom, but I think #2 has a bit more 'drama' to it. The steamer also fills the frame better, too.

                  Cheers,

                      Re: NATCHEZ Riverboat

Number 2 for me, the ¾ view is more flattering to the Boat and it sits better in the frame.

Amazing that something that 'seems' that top-heavy doesn't turn over.

                            Beautiful images Tom
We (in UK) only see these in films.
I'd love to be a passenger on that.
