    They're canny folk in Northumbria - waste not, want not - and here we have a prime example from the bay by Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island.

    Seriously, I like that, and the way you have incorporated the castle. the bit of wall on the right is out of place though.

      nice work, shame the sky was so yuck. Have you tried swapping the sky? My PS skills are pretty naff but I've got away with it on a few recent shots

        If you have lightroom try using dehaze for the sky :)

          Already done that Tony - there is insufficient there to get a result that does not look garishly unreal - it was a misty murky day and I am afraid that's what I'm stuck with (unless I follow Ian's cunning plan of course).
