    Wake rider

      Friend of mine has one. I borrowed one and we both went out on a large lake to try them out.

      Unfortunately, going full pelt, she didn't turn as tightly as she needed to, went up the shallow bank and travelled about fifty meters through weeping willows before she came to rest. I couldn't see the final outcome due to the weeping willows, but when I turned back and arrived at the bank fearing the worse, all I could hear was laughing. No damage to her, or the craft and we were soon back in the water, albeit a little more sedately from her.

        As a qualified powerboat and personal watercraft instructor. I have seen many similar incidents to the one you describe, thankfully, none were perpetrated by any of my students.
