Manfrotto 190XPROB and 410 junior head

Hi

I use the Manfrotto 190XPROB and a Giotto ball head at the moment but wish to upgrade to a geared head for greater precision with my Macro work.

Most of my work is at ground level and my concern is that the 410 Junior tripod head is going to be too heavy for this set-up and make the tripod unstable.

Any thoughts or experience of using this combination or of using the the 410 junior with any other tripod which will help me to make my decision?
