    Arctic Butterfly brushes

I have yet to need to clean the sensor on my 50D (having only one lens has it's advantages). When the sensor got grubby on my P****x I used an Arctic Butterfly and it worked very well. The sensor was left immaculate.

On another forum I recommended one to a Canon user and was shouted down by a couple of other members.

This left me wondering if there is something about a Canon sensor which renders the Butterfly less useful.

Anyone else tried one on their Canon?
    Cheers

Please feel free to critique or rework my pictures unless I ask otherwise.

    Oh Lord won't you buy me a 300mm F2.8L (or at a push, a 200-400 F4).

    Re: Arctic Butterfly brushes

I used it all the time before my bodies had self cleaning sensors. Fabulous bit of kit and was quite happy to use it weekly, or before an important shoot.

I also had full wet cleaning kit and 10x loupe for more stubborn stuff, but the arctic butterfly dealt with 95% of my dust bunnies.

Hardly ever use it now, such is the advance in technology.

I have the pro set (3 brushes) and use them all the time with no problems at all.
