It really doesn't, as there is almost always a substantial crowd beside this one and they leap out into the road to pose at every opportunity... :-)
(I don't ever recall passing without the crowd and people in the road.)

Thanks Andy for taking a look. Dr.Jon, that is indeed news to me, and it is more news to know that the Beatles and Abbey Road had such an impact, nostaligia to the people- I saw quite a lot of overseas visitors inside the Beatles Museum. I live and learn all the time! Thanks for letting me know this.

Nice set of shots Nathaniel. The piano/guitar shot is especially interesting to me.

As for the impact Abbey Road had, just take a look at some of the classic recordings that have been made there - especially in the 60s, 70s & 80s.

And that's without looking at classical and movie-scores. It's a very special place.

I was never a huge Beatles fan - preferred the Stones - but it's impossible to argue with the impact their music had, and continues to have, on popular music - especially when you think they only existed as a band for 6 years!

This was from when I walked past at 8:30pm last night, plus there are more people off to the right...

Great shots Nat. If I see a trip for Liverpool and have the holidays left to take time off work I'd now consider booking it looks good.

Thanks Di. I am sure you will enjoy the City & its attractions. If you are driving,Park in Albert Dock (reasonable Car park charges- try and choose the ones without a barrier as they are a nuisance, and much cheaper) & you can walk to most of the attractions.
