    Skiver's corner

I visited a friend of mine at his office and saw this skiver (from the office next door) nipping out for a fag. Saw him coming out every 10mins or so and thought I'd take this pic through the window. He may have seen me take the pics and afterwards he never showed up all the time I was at my friend's office.

503 problem. Will try later to post the pic

Thanks Jeff and Ian. The very fact that the chap did not appear after he "saw" me take the picture, indicates that he is a proper "skiver"!!!!!!!!

Just because someone smokes does not mean they 'skiving'. I often found it was the best time to meet folks from other departments to openly discuss whatever was going on in the overall business and interact on matters without an agenda.

Bob,I said "skiving" ,on account of the frequent ciggy breaks he seems to be having. Jeff, the casual clothes seems to be the "norm" in this part of the world esp when it involves non clerical work. Peter, you wouldn't have recognised me in my "burka......." at all.

You might "know" him Jeff as he is the sort of jobbing chap one comes across. This was actually taken in Macclesfield. Last year, I myself tracked a chap for a friend from a photograph ( taken in Prestwich), now living in St.Asaph!
