    Swanage Railway Diorama

Since setting my LS keywords I've rediscovered quite a few images from long ago taken on more modest equipment than we use today that can benefit from current processing tools. This is a two image stitch taken on a G2 with a mighty 4mp. Even so I like the 'diorama' feel and how it conveys the tranquility of a quiet branch line steam shed.

Sorry John, but it seems a bit busy for me and jumbled as I find myself jumping all around the image.

Hi Tom. Yes I agree there's a lot in it and that to me was one of the appeals and the modellers who create dioramas just can't get enough of that vital detail. Thanks for looking and commenting though.

      Cheers,

That was taken a few years ago. There is a large building behind the loco now. Great place and very friendly volunteers at Swanage well
worth a trip on the railway to Corfe Castle. Lots of pic opportunities.

              Thanks Treff

Pity about the new building as I wanted to go back armed with a more modern camera.

Incidentally, the shot was actually taken in 2008 (despite what the EXIF says!).
