Ive Just arrived back from two weeks in Orlando ,what a great place but need another holiday to recover. I didn't take the 7d but wished I had as the storms and the lightening we had was epic. I picked up a little powershot for £100.00 from Argos, apart from the usual snapshots which the camera was fine for, the low light shots were a bit hit and miss .Heres a couple not the best by any means but cheers for looking.

These just prove its more about the photographer than the equipment....I'm sure the camera had its limitations but all are credible shots...nice work.
I did a similar thing a few years back in California...used a G 10 instead of the 50D....quite liberating to use a small camera.

You've done well with these images and I can sympathise with the limitations of using a compact however I have been going to Orlando continuously for the last 17 years and originally took everything, DSLR 4 lenses etc but after having blisters the size of an egg on my shoulder due to the photographic rucksack I soon stopped and just take a bridge or point and shoot camera now, totally agree with you about needing a holiday after "doing" Orlando its a bloody hard but fun place to visit but you're constantly on the go

All very nice

I've mentioned this before but I like to tour on a motorbike so, with limited carrying capacity, my DSLR kit has to stay at home and I take my G10 instead. Compared to my 7D it's slow and lacks the flexibility of changeable lenses but it still takes fine pictures.
