    Applecross, Scotland

I've been taking another look at some past images shot on my G10 'biking camera' to see if LR can improve on the DPP processing initially applied.

This is a three-image-pano (best viewed on Flickr) taken last year at the north end of the Applecross coast road:

It's a lovely view John with good clouds too, however, the road bothers me. Bending right as it does it leads me out of the picture and not into it

works for me - nice shot

I can see Alans viewpoint but the bend in the road doesn't bother me

            Thanks folks

I did think long and hard about the 'lead out' from the road but in cropping it too much was lost so I thought it a price worth paying. Were I to retake it I'd walk down to the bend and shoot from there. Hmm, looks like I have an excuse to go back

For those who haven't experienced the West Coast of Scotland then I can only say go but be prepared to frustrate any non-photographer you travel with; it goes like this:

Stop, park bike, remove helmet, get camera out, take picture of "the best view in the world", put camera away, put helmet on, remount bike and ride off... until you go around the next corner and find an even better view where the above is repeated! Probably best to ride alone

            Cheers,
            John
