G7 - Dust on the sensor

Is it possible to have the sensor cleaned on a G7?
Mine's been hammered over the summer with no ill effects in a very hot and sandy environment, but over the last week I've noticed a smudge on all images (worse as it stops down to F8). I'll endeavour to use DPP to 'de-dust' the images but is there a cleaning option available? No doubt it'll be a dealer job as I can't see the camera coming apart easily.
    Thanks,

I am sure the senor could be cleaned by a Canon repair shop like Lehemmans in Stoke on Trent. However, it is always best to avoid situations where the sensor could collect dust and dirt.
