G10 to New Brighton and Liverpool

SWMBO wanted to see what New Brighton looked like these days. Well the tower has gone for starters.

It was a gloomy day and the G10 isn't at its best when the light is poor. These are all minimally fettled images (so you can see what the camera can do ... rather than what Photoshop or DPP can do with the images). Naturally the panorama is a stitch and crop.

    1. Perch Rock Lighthouse

    2. A Flock (or Bunch) of Superlambananas

    3. A Bad Case of Rust

    4. Well it's a Ovlov P1800 ... but I think the plate is false

    5. Finally The Liverpool Waterfront

Very nice, and I like the Rust one. Nicely spotted.

Thanks. The rusty door was part of a gun mount in the fort. It'll not last much longer. The pano really needed a bit of work to correct each of the images for lens distortions and me not tracking the horizon. The new angular building to the right of The Three Graces is the newly opened Museum of Liverpool (Click Here) which I must visit next time I'm in Scousepool.
