    River Thames walk

Since moving to the area I have become a leader for the Wellbeing/health walks (short 1.5 hour walks) supported by the local council. These were taken during this morning walk along the Thames. Cold and misty morning, but wish I had taken the DSLR. All taken with the Canon G12 on P mode.

    Absolutely super set Chris.
What a lovely start to to day and it looks a great place for the walk.

Exercise, lovely views and opportunities for photos - it is worth the cold start!

A great set Chris, you can’t beat an early morning walk at this time of year.

Three great shots Chris, number two shows the depth of the frost best for me.

All really nice and a testament to the quality of the Powershots

I've used a G10 as my travelling camera for years but, wanting something more modern and with higher spec, bought a G5x ii last year but, frankly, am finding it too clever with RAW files that I have to convert to DNG prior to importing to LR so suspect that a G12 would have served me better.

                  Cheers,
                  John

                    Thanks for the comments.

I've had the G12 for 10 years now, it was the only digital camera for about 4 years, since then I used it when I don't want to carry the DSLR. It has done well over the years and I'm still pleased with the results. Have looked at newer versions but want a view finder!
