Grabbed this with my G12 this morning. Colours were great, but I fancied a BW. I use the G at least as much as my 500D.

Well taken and spotted Derek. [I]would be inclines to crop a smidge off the top and the RHS to remove the glare

Beautiful, do like this.. alot. For me, could be cropped a couple of ways. Either taking a portrait style straight from the midde (removing the bright sun at the rhs) or landscaple. Making the top just below the sun, but keeping all the rays. I'd be proud if I'd managed to capture this.
But I'm a beginner... feel free to ignore.

Nah - looks okay as it is to me ... there's something about cresuscular rays especially when their origin is clear. But that's me.
Yes, the G-series cameras are all right for a pocket P&S :-) I use a G10.Comment
