I have just sold my Canon Powershot 130x IS and bought the Canon powershotSX30 IS mainly because I wanted one camera which would cover a longer range than the 130x. Whenever I took just one camera for a walk when photography was never in my mind, I have come across sites/images I would like to photograph, and found that I did not have enough reach. So I have plumped for the SX30 (second hand but MINT condition).
I would like to hear from members who have this camera and their views. I would also like to know whether the lens will accept a permanent UV filter( the Camera should arrive next week) on the lens and whether it would also accept a lenshood.
