    Advice on Monitor for photoshop

I'm using a 20 inch Samsung at the moment, about 6 years old, and I'd like to buy something for around £150 that's bigger and also okay to use with Photoshop (and Premiere Pro).

    Anyone got any good suggestions/experiences?

    Thanks in advance.

I bought a 23in AOC I2369VM IPS Monitor last year from scan.co.uk for just over £100. I use it with Photoshop and it's fine. Apart from being HD, what really appealed to me was that it has a very thin frame.

I'm currently using two Benq GL2450 24" monitors. Pretty good and I think they were about £100 or there abouts.

I have a 24" LG IPS that I bought recently and this was about £125 plus delivery from the UK to Spain, it is much better than my old Fujitsu non IPS monitor.

I did my research and looked for the best monitor I could get without going into crazy money. I was looking specifically for an ultra sharp monitor with IPS technology for photography. I settled on the Dell U2412M. At just over £200 it's a bit more than your budget but I think it's great value at that price and I can highly recommend it.

Bought same monitor myself. Quite happy with this.

My mind has gone numb researching this. I've reached the conclusion that I want a1900x1200 monitor, but the ones I can afford are all 1900x1080.

Looks as though I need to put this idea on the back burner.

I was the same. That one I recommended tiked all the boxes for me (1900x1200 & IPS technology) and at just over £200 was great value but I see its gone up in price now

Now you've done your research you will know what you need and if I were you I'd save up and wait a little longer rather than compromise on your requirements.

End of the story here was I bought the Dell U2412M. At just over £200 it was more than I wanted to pay, but it seemed like really great value and was basically what I wanted. Of course now I want two!!!
