As an EOS Mag digital subscriber, I download the PDF copies, and store them on my PC, much the same as most people I guess.
Today I tried loading a PDF copy from the PC onto the Hudl 2, directing it to the 16Gb SD card plugged into the Hudl.
No problem, the supplied Acrobat reader finds the copy, and opens it fine.
However, the problem arises when I want to delete a PDF document from the Hudl.
Hold a finger down on the document from within Acrobat, the document gets highlighted in blue, and the Trash can appear in the 'tool bar'.
Click on the Trash Can, and a 'pop up' asks "are you sure you want to delete this document. All fairly standard.
Click yes and another 'pop up' says "unable to complete this operation, the device storage area (e.g sd card) may not be writable".
Somewhat odd, as I had just written the document to the SD card.
The only way I have been able to delete a PDF from the tablet, is to remove the SD card from the Hudl, and plug the card into the PC's card reader. I can then delete the file.
Any ideas on this one??
Dave
