How many Apple users on here?

I have recently converted from Windows to Apple stuff, and will now never voluntarily return to the dreaded Windows and I know everyone says that, but until you've made the plunge then you'll never know the joy of a fast machine without any of the virus checking nightmare - which I think is the main reason why windows is so slow and cumbersome!
As the advert says about Applestuff - "it just works"
(now bracing self for scorn from Windows users lol)

BTW I have a 24" screen iMac 2.8 GHz with 4 GB 800 MHz memory - used it daily since buying 6 months ago and still just as fast

24" iMac here too, got it just before they switched to the aluminum case iMacs. Like you, it's my 1st Apple experience and will never switch back for my personal machine.

Unfortunately the other half and my work place still use Windows machines, so I still have to use them.

I use an iMAC with 4gig in the large monitor size. Use it with CS4, Lightroom, Photozoom pro, Photomatix pro and Pantone huey screen calibrator.

Having a problem at the mo with snow leopard, when using CS4 or lightroom they now both crash when saving for web or jpeg/tiff!

I'm going to wait a few weeks before getting snow leopard, hopefully by then the glitches will be sorted out. I use Aperture 2, but I bet your CS4 works superbly on your iMac Ron!

Yep that will be it's main use.. I may give Aperture a go although I am a LR2 CS4 man....

Apple couldn't repair my 2 year old G5 when the faulty PSU blew up last year so they gave me a new MacPro 2.8 mhz. Thank goodness for Time Machine. I didn't lose anything.

Havent really been tempted since faster Intel processors meant that CS2-4 works well on Windows now

I have an imac and macbook pro and never turned back to windows, the odd windows need can nowadays be met with bootcamp if needed so why windows?
