All Pro testers will sign a NDA ... so you'll get nothing from them.

I think it's fair to say there will be a replacement for the 5D2 ... but what and when is pure speculation (but hopefully Canon will surprise us with features). I could start a rumour about the EOS Series 0 ... a square (no quite MF) sensor ... or ... (well we can daydream). It’s an interesting obsession we (many) humans have these days of wanting the next version as soon as we get the current version. Be it cameras, software, cars, Apple anything, et seq.

Canon are quite good at keeping secrets, so could be any spec at any time. The rumour sites seem to like Jan 2012, but with their usual 2% accuracy record I wouldn't worry about it all that much. (If I was thinking about buying a 5D2 I'd worry a bit more, but it's still an excellent camera.)

It is known as 5D Mark II or 5D MK II sometimes members write mark 2 or mark 3. it don't matter how you write it we all understand the meaning.
