    R6 Focus bracketing test

I tried the focus bracket function on the R6 with 24-105 f4L...took 9 shots....and I can confirm it works as per the last image
the first three are sample individual images.....pretty clever eh!

Each shot took about 20 seconds for DPP to process when merging (on my Dell XPS Core i7 10th Gen laptop)....so if you choose to use 100 shots then be prepared for a long wait.

Yeah I think so to....definitely the best I’ve used...and the ergonomics is far more comfortable than the R.
Not sure if focus bracketing would be quick enough if the subject moves but it’s pretty quick..especially if you choose just 3 shots

Excellent, that brings a little further closer to going mirrorless

Thanks ...are Canon still offering their Try before you buy...might be the thing to do...and still use your EF lenses to start with to get a genuine comparison.

This function was one that i was impressed with when I had the R6 on loan under the Canon Test Drive. I tried it both handheld and tripod mounted and found it to work well.

It’s a useful feature...I don’t know how you can predict what depth you are going to get...I just focussed on the closest battery as a starting point in my experiment
